Patrick Clark, violin

Patrick Clark is a Multi-Instrumentalist who specializes in Violin and Fiddle. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Violin Performance from Northern Arizona University, with a secondary focus on Suzuki Pedagogy. He is certified in Suzuki books 1-4. As a faculty member of Nevada School of the Arts in Las Vegas, NV, Patrick maintains a private violin and fiddle studio of over 30 students. Patrick also teaches at Doral Academy of Nevada. He is a published author with the Hal Leonard Company, having written both “Fiddling, The Basics and Beyond,” and “Violin Fast Track.” California based Eastman Music Company also hires Patrick as a national clinician, traveling nationwide promoting the brand through free clinics to public school music programs. He has also presented multiple times at the American String Teachers Association conference.

In addition to teaching full time, Patrick maintains a performing presence in Las Vegas and its surrounding areas. Prior to teaching full time, Patrick spent over 6 years living in Nashville, TN touring and performing with some of Country Music’s biggest artists. Over three and a half years of that touring was spent performing as the Fiddle/Utility Player for Darius Rucker. In addition to Darius, Patrick toured and/or performed with Kelly Clarkson, Big and Rich, Lee Brice, Hunter Hayes, Sarah Evans, Collin Raye, Mark Wills, Mark Chesnutt, Roy Clark, Pam Tillis, Crystal Gayle, Brenda Lee, and many more. Patrick has also appeared on the following television shows at least once. The Oprah Winfrey Show, David Letterman, Jay Leno, The Today Show, Good Morning America, CBS This Morning, Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, Wendy Williams, Bonnie Hunt, The View, Dancing With The Stars, The ACM Awards, The CMA Awards, The Billboard Awards and The CMT Awards.

Patrick has performed as a member/substitute with the following orchestras; Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra, Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra, and Las Vegas Philharmonic. Patrick has performed as a soloist with Flagstaff Symphony and Tuscaloosa Symphony. Tuscaloosa Symphony has also performed arrangements written by Patrick.
